WotLK Using scroll of deception on an already transmogrified item

So a quick question. What happens when one uses the scroll of deception on an already transmogrified item?

Do I get the appearance of the original item or the item I used for the mog?

You get the appearance of the ORIGINAL item, however, you cannot use it on the same item to restore the original appearance, as it tells you that appearance already exists.
