Technical Sons of Hodir after rename

Hi!

Several days ago I had a character rename thingy which seemingly uh messed some stuff on my character, now I thought that server restart might resolve it on its own - the classic turn it on and off thing. However since that didn't really work and I kinda need the shoulder enchant that reputation vendor sells, which btw I was able to purchase before the name change, and after waiting like 3 days with unanswered ticket and having to find out on my own that I'm supposed to make a bugtracker report which hasn't received any attention I thought to turn to forums in search of if not an answer then suggestions on how to fix it myself which does not involve levelling another character because I simply cannot be bothered with that.

I've tried nigh on everything - relogging, deleting cache folder, disabling all addons, even trying another client and another PC. Any help and/or attention of the relevant staff would be highly appreciated.

I think you're best off waiting for help in-game. Perhaps your quest phase bugged out somehow. GMs might fix it.

Yeah naw, GMs in-game apparently have lack of reading comprehension as prerequisite for being GMs vehemently insisting that the quest chain is fine and working when I've pointed out explicitly that it wasn't an issue with quest chain so I've just given up on the server as a whole.
