Below are the addons I use on Icecrown. I know there are a number of such lists on here, and a gazillion forum posts requesting working ones loaded with broken links and false claims that such-and-such is working flawlessly. These actually are. With one minor caveat:

I have yet to find a copy of Spy for WotLK that isn't throwing taint. And it is definitely only taint, which doesn't affect any functionality and you wouldn't even notice it except for a chat message saying "An interface action was blocked due to an addon" unless you enabled /console taintLog 1 and looked at the log. It's something to do with its automatic resizing function and only occurs when in combat, whether or not a player from the opposing faction enters range. This list includes a working GathererDB, and the multiple posts on these forums linking to WowHead are comically lazy. WowHead itself has one DB available for download, from 2013, which is obviously going to either throw errors against locations that did not yet exist in WotLK or is not going to work at all. The last WotLK update on WowHead was in December, 2010 (which some of y'all would know if you even bothered to get as far as the change log ...) and the one I'm using is from September, 2010, but if you know how Gatherer and similar addons work, that's plenty close enough. Not to mention wtf are you doing playing a 20 year old game hosted on a private server if you need your hand held while someone else does it for you ...

To ensure compatibility with other addons, when you get a .lua error in your frame or sack, copy it into a .txt file and check the addon's .toc file to make sure it's hooking the correct version (including url if there is one) of the correct addon.
