WotLK Ninja Looting

So, basically I've been banned for "Ninja Looting in the Dungeons", but I can't recall when I did that and is it possible to view the footage or whatever it is?
Last time I remember that a tank trinket dropped during the run and I asked if it was okay to Need the item and they responded it was fine so, I did it.

Also, nobody else had selected Need except me and I was the only one who could use the item except tank who already had it.(edit)

Maybe not all of them responded that it's fine? And even if they did, they could still have reported you. What the tank has is not relevant. If you want an item for offspec, according to the rules, you are supposed to press greed and roll against those who want to disenchant or sell the item. You have no priority over them. So they all have to agree if you want to press need instead.

If ALL others actually gave you affirmative answer to do so, then it's ok. It needs to be explicit answer, no answer/silence isn't "OK/yes".

This isn't green light for you to NEED. You should've either asked if it's ok for you to NEED; or used GREED like everybody else.
