1. No sound running client with Wine

    Hi

I recently installed an Arch-based linux distro (Garuda linux) and wanted to play WoW with it (Wine). Sadly I can't get the sound working. Took a while for me to realize it as apart from addons, I have muted the client. However not getting the sound working is an issue. I can tell the sound works on other ported apps and games so WoW is a special case here.

Tried searching around, but not luck.

  2. something like this?

    Code: Select all

fixme:alsa:AudioClient_GetMixFormat Don't know what to do with 32 channels, pretending there's only 2 channels
fixme:alsa:AudioClient_GetMixFormat Don't know what to do with 10000 channels, pretending there's only 2 channels

If yes the most easiest for no-advance people (you are on arch so you are suppose to be advance. Furthemore on weird distro, not fan of garuda). downgrade Wine.

  3. Problem solved. Got it working by installing some 32-bit libraries.
