I was running a RDF dungeon then I got disconnected. When I tried to login it says that I am banned. So I immediately checked my warmane account and it says I was banned for fishbotting?
I do not understand why but I have not even touched my fishing profession at all. I was enjoying myself doing dungeons and leveling up and this is quite an inconvenience. May I request for you to look into it and hear my request. I really enjoy the game and do not wish to stop playing just because of account suspension due to wrongfully banning.
Thank you for viewing and replying my post. Yes I have already sent an appeal earlier today but I still haven't received any reply from the warmane team yet that is why I posted here in the forum. I will also be trying to reach out to them via the email you gave me.
Ban appeal tickets are lowest priority and usually take about a week. Ban appeals are supposed to be handled only by using support system on website, except for specific bans where that's not available. Trying to contact staff using other methods will have no effect and they will only tell you to make a ban appeal.
It's alright I can wait. I honestly am happy playing on this server. Population and community are great which is hard to find on any other server. Thank you for taking your time to give me an idea on warmane's process for ban appeals. I just hope to hear from them soon so that I can play with my character again.
Hi, before I got disconnected I was in a dungeon (RDF) and I have never even went fishing that's why I am sure that I have never, in any way, used any third-party tools that can cause the ban for fishbotting. I also submitted an appeal right after I went to check my account and saw that I got wrongfully banned for fisbotting.
Bans aren't necessarily applied the moment you are doing whatever gets you banned.
You might have been reported days ago and it only got processed now. Bans also are on the account, not on the character, so it could result from something done on another character, even a deleted one.
