1. event loot

so if i need item thats not for my spec in event dungeon, is that considered as ninja looting?

  2. Off the top of my head the event loot is level 200 which is useful for many people so yes why wouldn't it be bannable? Even ninja looting in wailing caverns is bannable.

    Edit: item level is 226!

  3. and so what? wasnt ninja looting when you are the group/raid leader and scam ppl with that?
you cant rly change loot rolling thing in event dungeon, so why it would be bannable?

i understand that item can be useful to ppl, but you can vendor items too and gold is useful for everyone

  4. No, ninja looting is needing on an item that isn't for your declared role. People have even been banned for asking if it was ok if they needed an item in an rdf and since not EVERYONE else said it was ok with them, and one ****er decided to report them, they got a ninja loot ban

Your description of ninja looting is another form of it, but all of them fall under the same umbrella

  5. gold is useful for everyone
Except you're not rolling for the gold that item could represent, you're rolling for the item as an upgrade to your character's gear. In that regard, you don't NEED it.

  6. Did anyone notice that people come with their disenchant character , then they remove their necklace and do the event dungeon 100 times a day. If their necklace (for the ''upgrade'') drops, then they wait till everyone do disenchant and they click on need. So then they disenchant and earn a profit (dunno if its abysal crystal drop). I noticed that many people have started doing this...

Ofc they do, easy profit, and as long as you have random <226 ilvl neck equipped, doubt players start investigating the "ninja". Waste of staff resource as well to go hunting these.

    - Player need rolling (group loot) on items which he cannot even use.
    - In RDF needing on items for Off-Spec (unless everyone in party is explicitly fine with this).
    - Need rolling for other players to have 2 or more roll chances at one item.
    - Kicking players from raid for no reason, especially before distributing loot from boss kill that they participated in.

Thanks for the reply, wanted to know if this is bannable or not. But I see that most have started this.

  10. what about stealing stuff from guild bank? is that also ninja looting?

  11. No, that's just being a douche.

  12. afaik cleaning out a guild bank is not bannable.
