WotLK Progression reset

Hi i wanted to ask about Progression reset Some of my friends think that every year The whole Realms will get reseted is it correct or not ?

on which realm are you playing?

Frostmourne realm is the one which is resetted every 12 months.
When reset occurs character do NOT get deleted but it is given the oppurtunity to transfer them to Icecrown realm
