Realms Icecrown - Lack of Mining Veins

Hi, I can't say I'm new to the server, but I've played here on and off over the years and one thing I like about WoW is professions.
Now I play a Paladin, I would love to be able to craft the gear I want for myself just to feel that true RPG experience, so I picked up Blacksmithing.
I have no clue what's wrong the deal with Ores here, but everywhere else I can, without a doubt, find more than 20 nodes each zone. This is not the case on Warmane, it's been a pain finding some Ores, more specifically: Iron, Mythril, Thorium, Fel Iron Ore, Adamantium (and that's as far as I went).

I've scouted every zone where these Ores would spawn and to my surprise I cannot seem to find many... Maybe 5 nodes scattered around the map, takin 30 mins just to get to every single one, but scouting the whole map for almost no Ores? Keep in mind I have Gatherer and I scouted the zones at different times during the day expecting other players to pray on these Ores as well.

I might not be the first one complaining about the lack of Ores, but if someone more experienced can enlighten me I would really appreciate it.

Because it's being harvested as soon as it spawns pretty much. That's how it is on huge population realm.

Warmane is a massive server, and there's a trade system where you can exchange gold for coins and buy BiS gear. People farm like crazy.

Rolled a new DK on Icecrown 3 days ago. Mining/JC, have epic flying and dual talents already, with 1000g still in the bank. Plenty of mining opportunities.

I'm surprised you found fel iron and adamantium ore rare. I typically farm in the AM of server time (say like 0800-1300 ST) and fill up 36 slot bags full of the stuff in a couple hours. That being said, it is a super overharvested server and I do feel your pain. Your best bet is just to pick off peak times and farm then, it still won't be as rich as other servers but it will be a lot better. Now if Warmane could just do something about the ****s who leave motes/crystallized fragments in a vein so it doesn't despawn...

I also find that there's just alot of farmers out there, sometimes 4-5 yellow dots on the minimap, when you herb/mine the first, the rest dissaper, but alot of times you see people comming from the dots, so would be fair to think it just got mined/herbed.
