WotLK Cant gem gear?

So since last night i cant put gems on my gear. Has someone experienced someting similar?

Can you show a SS?

any kind of gem, i try to put it in slot, and it doesnt apply it.

can you link your armory? (unless it is frostmourne character, armory is not active yet for them)

You need to cut the gem to provide a stat, or two if a hybrid gem.

I recommend getting AtlasLoot addon. It has boss drops, profession items and materials required, PvP items, and so on. Good and useful addon to have.

You're trying to use an uncut gem like cardinal ruby.
First you need a JC to make something like "Bold cardinal ruby" so you can use it.
