WotLK bought teleport to Dalaran. now stuck. please advise

Hello,

I asked a mage to tp me into Dalaran. I didn't know it was inappropriate to do that. Please help me return to my inkeeper location and I'll make it to Dalaran on my own. Thank you.

The game freezes after a few secs and there is nothing I can do about it.

as far as I know it is not "inappropriate" to go there. (even if you are low level)
Everyone set HS in Dalaran and then take portals for other cities in case.

That said, if you have problem to log in, try "website unstuck":
From the website go into My Account>Services>Select Realm>Select Character>Set Currency:Free>Character Unstuck

If you run addons. Disable them, try loading in then. If it still freezes, exit game and set settings to low and try again. If it still freezes, dunno.

Oops, sent a message i guess...If you still have issues after everything they said, you could try (some report it helping) deleting the wtf and cache folders. When the game starts up again, change the resolution to your monitors native setting and then set graphics to low.

If that doesn't work, depending on your system, upgrade or downgrade depending on your circumstances. Newer beefy pc's have an issue running this due to optimization issues.
