WotLK Cant log in after changing realm list

I've changed the realmlist to 'set realmlist logon.warmane.com'

and entered my warmane username and password but It will not connect.

I downloaded the client from a different pserver - not sure if there is some additional things i need to change in the game files to set the correct realmlist or something?

I'd appreciate any help.
