1. Beggers is it bannable?

    NO SCAMMING
Acquiring someone's items or gold by missinformation or fraud is not tolerated.

    NO SOCIAL MISTREATMENT OR ANNOYANCE
We prize for a fun enviroment for everybody, meaning all players should follow that philosophy If you dont wish to have your gameplay disrupted by a GM intervention, just play nice and avoid ruining the gameplay of your fellow players. Below are some examples of what you shouldn't do!
Spam/Flood: Using colored text or big Icons in global channels is not allowed. Flooding it with repeated messages neither. Avoid it to avoid being muted or banned.

Beggers are essentially misleading players by asking for gold for items they arent going to purchace ( "Acquiring someone's items or gold by missinformation or fraud is not tolerated." )

they also are causing social mistreatment and annoyance. spam messages spam trades,
yes ignore can help with this issue but ignore list fills up fast with every other more demanding issue and yes you could get an addon to accomodate this but is this truely on the actuall player base the people who actually play (not the beggers who do nothing but annoy people 24/7) to go out of there way to get addons to prevent there activities these leeches on the enviroment can only be ignored for x amount of time before they renew there leech account and start over so you need to ignore yet another account

is there absolutely nothing an actual player can do but ignore or condone there behaviour ?

  2. Beggers keep begging as long as it's profitable. Stop giving them money. All/the best you can do is ignore them.

  3. Technically it's a grey area. I mean they're simply asking you for gold, not offering anything in return which might bait you into a trade. A simple "no" or /ignore is sufficient.

It's like this since the dawn of man. People will beg if they can and most often they'll make profit out of it. Literally nothing you can do about it except the mentioned things.

  4. considering its obvious they have no urge to play the game just be a disturbance why cant this just be a bannable offence itd make the muppets think twice most of them are using burner accounts and are most likely gold/coin sellers anyway

  5. If MMOs were to ban people because someone else considers them "a disturbance," they would close doors before the first week was over.
Our small team of GMs has more pressing reports to deal with than to go banning people begging for gold, something that happens in any online game with tradable currencies.

  6. your assumption they are most likely gold/coin sellers is wrong. Most people who ask for free gold fall into 2 categories. 1) new and actually don't have gold 2) have nothing better to do than sit in dalaran spamming. It's not banable, nor should it be. If it bothers you that much, just leave chat or download addon that blocks pre determined phrases such as "give gold"

  7. if this is the case then shouldnt the rule of spamming be revisted/ removed? since beggers get immunity for it and apparently its up to the players to ignore them ive never seen a single one of the hard core spammers who fit in that discription get banned for it or muted and these are the people you can actually ignore because they are usually on a main account/toon and once ignored you dont see the ****ty spam from them but when it comes to beggers they make burner accounts you can only ignore them for x amount of time before you need to add another into the ignore list

  8. if this is the case then shouldnt the rule of spamming be revisted/ removed?
No, players have multiple ways to deal with it themselves (up to and including, you know, going about the world to play the game instead of idling in major cities, which is where beggars usually park, no?). GMs are there for things that are completely out of players' hands.

  9. **** it im just dropping my tickets for the coin sellers exploiters and gamblers and ninjas then no point and cleaning up the community with that attitude

  10. You are so blatantly salty with a blurred interpretation of the rules it's not even funny... I report ninjas regularly. Very rarely do they NOT get banned because someone can't read. Occasionally I find someone spamming global with obvious rule breaking stuff, I report them, they get banned. I don't report every darn gold begger or **** joke spammer. I just /ignore or don't look at the chat. The game ISN'T ABOUT THE CHAT! Stop being salty.

  11. Lol. I report about 20-30 people a week for ninja looting, 20-30 for coin selling a month. It's not only the responsibility of the gm's to keep the server clean, it's up to us to inform them of the people breaking the rules. If your not happy with how the rules work, that's all on you. Trash talking the server or the people trying to keep it going isn't the route to take, just leave if your this upset about it. That's just my opinion.

  12. If you wanna see a player how much gold it ever had you simply can target them, right click and choose compare achievements after that just scroll down and find left side is for you right is theirs
