Hello, I had few characters on this account on server Icecrown an now I log after few months and there are 0 characters at my account .Can I ask what happend ? I hope I am not wrong, if I played on Frostmourne earilier, are my characters lost forever ?

if played during Frostmornne season 1 = 15-april-2020 -> 14-April-2021 = They are lost forever
If played during Frostmourne season 2 = 15-april-2021 -> 14-April-2022 = you can manually transfer them to icecrown:

Dear Warmane Admins:
I have several years offline from this server, due to lack of Internet. Now that I have a new one, I humble request that you restore my old characters from a backup system you set in the time when I was playing. I have a file with an extension .webs which the page created in the backup system you had in that time, and there I'm sure my old characters are stored. I only have to know how to upload it into your server, and I'll be back for play. Tyvm in advance. :)

That backup isn't made because "didn't play for years, now I'm back" kind of situations. Time for you to build again. Though if they were max level characters on Icecrown/Lordaeron/Blackrock, they should still be there. They're just waiting to be given new names.

The only restoration available is the one on the Services page, which only affects characters manually deleted within the last 30 days.

If you can't get hold of your account via https://www.warmane.com/account/retrieve, then you'd need to contact [email protected] and provide evidence of account ownership.

Sory, I looked into the characters page in all the servers, but they are not there. I remember clearly that when I left playing (few weeks b4 I lost my Internet), Marmane reported a crash on the whole site and the characters were lost, so I assumed that the backup I made with the WEPS system was precisely implemented for these kind of loses. Please, I had my chracters well leveled enough, and most importantly, with a ton of items that I spent many months winning from raids and special events. I have my backup of the WEPS system in my HD so I can send it to you for the restoriation, tyvm in advance... :)

That file is exclusively for us to ask and used in case something happens with our database. It's not meant for players to use for character restorations.

1. A character is flagged for a rename, if they haven't been played for a long time. These characters have no name, thus you can't find them on armory, until they're named again in-game.
2. If you mean "moltdown", WEBS was implemented after it.
