WotLK Add-Ons Help

Hi! So I had some basic add-ons before (Healbot continued, Recount) but had to wipe my PC. I reinstalled them and put them back into the WoW 3.3.5 > Interface > Addons folder, but they aren't appearing in-game like they did before. Am I missing a 3rd party that I didn't know I had before? (I did try restarting both the game multiple times and my computer.)

at character selection screen click on "addons" button on left bottom corner -> enable "load out of date addons"

delete interface folder -> log in-game with a random character -> then log out

In this way an Interface + addons folder will be automatically created.
Place your addons there.
Remeber to download addons for wotlk game version

Go to your WoW/Interface/AddOns/ -folder, and check if the AddOns are packed within an extra folder. This is usually the issue when AddOns aren't showing up, despite being for the correct WoW version, and installed within the right folder.

E.g. the addon might be installed like this:
WoW/Interface/AddOns/DBM/DBM
WoW/Interface/AddOns/DBM/DBM-TBC

When the addon should be installed like this:
WoW/Interface/AddOns/DBM
WoW/Interface/AddOns/DBM-TBC

One of the problems with downloading addons off a website instead of using something like CurseForge...they're always in .zip files instead of just the basic files themselves.

I need to keep myself remembering that. XD
