Good morning everyone.
I am playing Wotlk 3.3.5a on another private server but due to the time difference between server and local time I have difficulty in participating in the already few raids that my guild can do.
Unfortunately I saw that Warmane does not provide a porting service so I would like to avoid changing servers and starting all over again blindly.
First of all I would like to ask you where to find more detailed information about the various realms, so that I can evaluate population and peak times from the information page. What are the differences between the various frosturme / Lordaeron / Icecrown / Blackrock? (I found information only about the Lordaeron realm in the forum). Are they all at 3.3.5a?
What are generally the times / days of raiding?
Do you use open raids (i.e. looking in the general chat and building the raid) or do you proceed mainly by guild?
Frostmourne is seasonal, currently at 3.1 Ulduar. High rates. The season ends in April. Characters can be transferred to Icecrown after the season is over, if you want to keep playing on said characters.
Lordaeron is x1, with some adjustments to make encounters harder. 3.3.5
Icecrown is high rates, what people would call "main realm". 3.3.5
Blackrock is instant 80 PvP, you get starter gear. Crossrealm PvP is a thing.
Icecrown and Frostmourne can easily get full 12k players each on peak hours. Icecrown tends to have most players around the clock.
Guild raids tends to be after work hours, varies a bit based on a guild. There are pugs throughout the days, there's always a raid going somewhere.
Raiding day focus is weekend heavy, but still many raids during week days.
People do PUG raids, with very different results. Average PUG ICC tends to be 6 boss run, but 8-10 boss runs aren't that uncommon. Beyond that is rare, but it can be achieved. More so if you join regular PUG groups.
Instant Level 80 costs 20 Coins and provides:
- Character instantly leveled up to level 80
- Starter gear package of your choice.
- Instant Level 80 does not include spells, skills or any other benefits
- Instant Level 80 is irreversible and not eligible for refund
One could look into character trade. Cost is 30 coins, but there are many characters that have max professions, flying, dual specs obtained.
Character trade is premium feature, and only for accounts that have donated ($10+). If you want to donate, and do character trade, and care about account security, I recommend enabling 2FA on the spot.
Thanks, very comprehensive answer.
Since you gave me the population sizes of Icecrown and Frostmourne, approximately how many players is the population of Lordaeron made up of?
I don't really like the high rates experience, although I read that the instant 80 service is not active on lordaeron, is that correct?

You can check population the home page to the right: https://www.warmane.com/
Lordaeron has about 8k player on peak times. Maybe a bit more.
There's no instant 80 on Lordaeron yes, but you can still use character trade there and buy a level 80.
Thanks a lot.
I saw the population on the right in home page but i thinked it was the online(and i was right it seem XD)
If is around 8k is a good population i guess.

Thank's again
You can buy characters from trade system that are level 80 with skilled up professions and maybe some more advantages over the instant 80 services. Probably consider buying those.
Thanks,
I've see the trade section and agree with you.
Is better to buy with trade rather than get an istant 80 service.
Profession, some reputation, mybe some better gear.
I surely consider it
In icecrown this time of the day? Yes, every day, especially bad during the weekends. You can bypass it by becoming a premium member.
And how goes sevrer during this time?
If we all have premium(or if there's quee and a premium skip queue there are a lot of player connected) server could be overload.
It's server stable? There are many crashes?
sry for all this question, i've started try this server but since i can play few hours a day and these are between 18/23 ST I want to know what I'm up against :D
