Lordaeron. No local channels.

Hello there. I'm playing on Lordaeron and there are no local channels, like for Durotar or Silverpine Forest. Don't know about the situation in other locations, though. Currently, I'm located in Silverpine Forest and not able to complete a couple of red quests by oneself. How am I supposed to find a group? By the way, if there's no local Barrens chat - this is a prodigious loss.

Reset your chat settings, or open them and have a look by right clicking the "General" chat tab.

Well, I see now. There are channels, but they are dead or have super low activity. Considering that 'Global channel' is turned on by default, chances of someone seeing my message are insignificant.

If you want to look for more people in a levelling zone, you can try the /who command. For example, if you are in Silverpine Forest:

/who z-silverpine

will show a list of other players of your faction currently in Silverpine Forest. Then you can whisper them and see if they want to help.
