1. Accidentally donated with a typo in email

Hi, just donated on behalf of my sister and managed to mistype the email address. Could someone get in touch to sort this out? I wouldn't want to share her email publicly. Many thanks!

  2. I'm not sure what you mean. You can't "donate on behalf" of someone, you have to be logged in to the account to donate from inside it, and then you wouldn't be able to log in with a mistyped email address.

  3. When you pay through paymentwall they ask you for an email address, but I think it's only so they send you the receipt and the donation should've gone through anyway

  4. Yes, but that's just for where they send the receipt, nothing else. What account gets the donation is controlled by being logged in to it, a "mistyped email address" wouldn't keep a donation from happening or from going to the only possible account to receive it.

Of course, if you tried to buy Coins and got scammed by someone claiming they were sent to the wrong email address, this would be a whole different matter.

  5. Well my card got charged but no payment is visible in her account and I did do it through her account.

Edit: ah I can see that the tx is in a pending state and will be reverted on the 26th, so I guess I'll have to do it again. For reference it took me like 4 tries to manage to complete the transaction because it kept timing out.
