Runic HP/Mana injector + Alchemy trinket

Do these injectors benefit from the Alchemy trinket that boosts potion effectiveness by 40%? And if so, how does the math get handled? Does Runic Injector first get boosted by 25% for engineers and then that value gets boosted by 40% from the trinket?

I don't have this specific combination of professions so that's why I'm asking, these mana injectors could be restoring like 8k-9k mana every minute, amazing for lower geared casters, especially healers in dungeons where you don't get even 2 seconds to drink, just inject that **** into your veins and keep going. :D
