I am introducing my wife to WOW, we are loving the Lordaeron realm, buuut she has arachnophobia. So I am trying to swap the models of few things that look like spiders (Blizzard just love them) so she (and the community with this problem) can have a better experience. I had used mpq editor but when I run WOW the models dont change (I am not very good at this).
Is there any possibility somebody help me create a file with swap model of creatures that look like spiders to something else (we are not picky, as long as it doesnt look like a spider its great), it can be a cow or anything easy. Or if you know a nice tutorial I will keep also trying by my own.
At this moment I am trying to change these creatures (below) to look like a cows.

How is fighting cute, harmless cows better than fighting disgusting spiders? I would feel like scum if I had to do that. Instead of trying to hide spiders, make her confront her fear. That's the only real solution.

Then you don't understand phobias and instead of being an inconsiderate **** you should lay off the forum and keep playing the game happy to not have disabilities that affect your gameplay.

I just managed to make an Alpha patch (MPQ file) that swaps all the spiders(like) models in the game for other enemies. Yey!
If somebody needs it, I will share it gladly. My wife is really happy with it.
Note: It works good this Alpha but since I am super new with this I still have to fix cosmetics aspects for example:
- Fix the skins of new models.
- Change sound of enemy.
- Change icon of spider items.
