    Ninjalooters who rename their character

Is it that easy to dodge a ban for ninjalooting in raids? I would like an dead serious answer, because I kinda can't figure out how I report such ninjalooter with his LFM, full video of the raid, exact timestamps where relevant things occur, HIS ACTUAL NEW CHAR NAME and then I get the "investigate" answer and few days later I see him logging off in front of my eyes. Don't tell me there's no log of some sorts of people's renames, because it turns out we have a massive reason to remove character renaming AT LEAST from points services.

add him to friendlist -> so you can track his new name in case

He is in my list from the moment he ninjalooted, that's how I know what he renamed to. My question is how is he not banned given the blatant ninjalooting and the 110% proof provided...

I'm guessing the blatant ninja looting wasn't so blatant as you think. Or there's more to it. Rename service has no effect on avoiding bans. If it did, it would be major flaw in design, and people would abuse it far and wide.

It was blatant enough that the winner of a heroic prot mark was never actually traded and the ninjalooter now has a heroic head piece when he used to have a 264 one(no, there were no other heroic marks, because his raid leading skills were **** enough to get us wiped enough times at bpc to raid over). Not to mention said person rolled on a bunch of normal prot marks even tho he never changed his spec and he was full 264 T10 at the start of the raid(rolled them for his friend hunter). Like I said, it's a very blatant and easy to read case, plus the rename, and I don't see why this pathetic excuse for a human being is still playing(at least on that account).

Ok, I see another obvious raid ninjalooter running around after a full report with more than enough evidence of the obvious. I'm done with this nonsense. Have fun raiding with ninjalooters, it's apparently ok these days. :)

Regardless of all of that, you still have to prove the item was stolen. If all it took was the absence of evidence then it would be pretty easy to selectively report and ban just about anyone.

    - spends the entire raid in 4x 264 T10 resto shaman items
    - "rolls out" heroic prot mark
    - the winner(hunter) never gets traded the mark(explicitly asked)
    - raid leader has heroic t10 head piece immediately after the raid AND the character is renamed - I guess it's a tradition to rename your character after every raid, totally not because you just ninjalooted...

All of that, except ninjalooter wearing a hc head piece, is in the video recorded and posted in the report. 0 editing done. I won't ask what exactly it takes to prove an item was stolen. Following your logic, I have to be the rightful winner of an item and be the victim of the ninjalooter, only then will the video be considered as "solid proof".

As I said, I'm done. Someone close this thread please.

What it takes to get someone banned is listed in the thread about reporting players. If your video lacks even a single thing from the list, it will be automatically discarded as evidence. The raid leader wearing it, having a name change... that's not part of what an investigation will look into. With the amount of reports GMs receive, the investigation has to be focused only on evidence provided that matches the required list. Expecting them to dig deeper is just unreasonable, no matter what you think.
