I would like to request additional information each time a GM responds to your ticket, what I am specifically talking about is telling the reporter if the player went punished or not. This simply will put trust into the system as I have reported many times with proof but never actually knew if the player got banned or not. So if GM's are taking care of a ticket and come to a conclusion that a player will be banned or not, they should let the reporter know. Otherwise what is the point in making tickets if you never know what actually happens to that player you reported. Yes in global chat you always see bans and so on but you never see their name but for the victim, you should let them know if that player has been punished. If you cannot do that then please explain to everyone, how is making a ticket and wasting your time providing evidence, exactly show that the GM's actually do punish people you have reported, and not just a simply reply "the player will be investigated"? Yeah no **** that is why I made a ticket, the only response I want is if they got punished or not, simple.
I really want to know if my reported player gets banned, simple reply from GM telling me yes or no would just satisfy my reason to reporting. Otherwise, are you expecting me to guess? I report for a reason.
Exactly "punishment happening" but the GM's never say if they get punished or not. That is what I want from GM's. A simple reply telling me if they got punished or not.
The whole reason of me creating a ticket and reporting a player, is to make sure rules are followed and the one's who don't get punished, but if I make a ticket and don't even know what happens to that player, then I might as well not make tickets anymore since I don't know if the staff or my evidence even works. Do not see a single logical reason to why asking for a yes and no from a GM would be a problem.
Hell even in a 7+ game (Minecraft) staff replies whether the player got banned or not. How is it that here its somehow not happening? And quite frankly I do not see a reason to why players names should be blurred out when getting banned, it is their fault....and they know what they are doing. You don't see police in real life blurring some thieves name do you? No because its for the public safety, so people are aware who did what and who to avoid.
For what reason exactly is that not allowed? So far all I see the "create a ticket" option is to blindside people into believing that the GM's actually care, when in reality they don't.
And if this is truly the case, then everyone is free to break the rules and ninja loot in raids. Since there is actually no proof that players do get punished. The only proof is that in global chat sometimes it appears that a player got banned. But for all we know that could be fake as well.
ima just break the rules just like everyone else does. This is completely unfair to players like me who want to play fair. So if you can't beat them, be like them.
It isn't a case of "not allowed", but unecessary. A GM doesn't need to report back to the player. Same here in forums, if an user is reported, we won't send a message saying "hey, we banned that guy who offended you the other day".
You better stop with this fake claim that the ban announcements are fake just because you didn't get what you wanted. If you think breaking the rules is ok because of some belief you have, then I welcome you to try. And when you get banned (you will rapidly notice how the GM's do care), do not come crying on the forums claiming that it only happens to you. You are not special.
Don't overthink it. After two rejected ingame reports, I've reported directly to the head gm here on forums and the guy who was previously ignored (for wintrading into alt accounts) by the ingame masters got finally banned. You know..people can't be fully trusted to their job properly. The funny part is..two months after he got banned his main account is again unlocked so idk. connections? I'm not spreading dramas, just serving facts without involving player or game master names
Usually wintrades are dealt with by the Head GM. The person in charge of ban appeals is Smyth, who isn't a GM or Head GM. After a while, if the ban reason wasn't too big of a deal, the person isn't a repeated offender or whatever reason, he might have another chance to play again. It isn't up for players to decide. Your served "facts" are fake. Wintrading is something the needs sometime for investigation. Stop with the propaganda.
