WotLK Across Transborea

While doing Across Transborea the NPC will despawn as you cross the first bridge into Dragonblight and the quest cannot be completed. Any advice on how to get this completed would be helpful. Have attempted it on foot and mounted to no avail.

I found a way. When you cross the border to Dragonblight the screen freezes for a second and during that the npc disappears.
I took aggro from some enemy npc close to that bridge. While fighting i crossed the border and instead my npc the enemy npc disappeard.

I completed the quest this way.
