WotLK did frostmourne servers get removed?

im coming back after afew months of not playing and i wanted to go on an account on the frostmourne server but its gone now, is there a way i can get my character slot back or nah

It's been announced in advance that FM realm will be decommissioned and later turned into a vanilla -> tbc -> wotlk progression realm. There's multiple announcements on the warmane home page...
For the chars you might have had on the last season before realm was shut down, go to my account > services > realm transfer.
