I am back and we started on Icecrown. Me and my wife used to be regular players on Lord but decided to try the other server to have it less hard in raid.
our 5 years old started with us. We all leveled together and he is a mage, i thought mage would be easier but after trying his mage , i realize they are very very fragile and he die too often when he play on his own.
I can keybind maybe 4 button at the most, so far i choose arcane mage for him and make a few macro to help him with his rotation, but there is many thing to press .... So i m gonna help him to level something else that is way more easier and resistant.
Which class you think can have the less skill to be keybind ? Which class require as minimum skill as possible
Well this is a new time , they dont even teach cursive anymore but they are teaching keyboard typing from 1st grade. Dont worry about him , he is doing skating , soccer twice a week , karate 3 times a week, already good at math and already speak 2 language .....
He enjoy playing 2-4 hours on the weekend with his family. He already finished Mario Odyssey on his own , playing Minecraft with his 19 yo sister on xbox,
a ret or a preg paladin with something that helps u key spam. dps can be done with one button that spams judgement, cs, ds... etc in a specific order
then you have flash of light you can use on proc or as a general heal
that leaves you 2 keys to spare for other abilities (sacred shield, cleanse, bubble... etc)
Again people, mind your own business and let me raise my son.
Having some parents that is pushing that stupid gender ideologies on their 4-5 years old , having school that push it as well , if i want to play wow with my son and my wife this is my own business.
My son never play on his own , always in my group , with all chat disable. Sometime we can just play fishing , roaming around to grab some plant , nothing never too intense.....
Believe me , there is way worst than playing wow with his dad. And my son will not turn like all those woke NPC that we are living around
I wish i never started to play video games.. They are to addictive. Don't ask me how i know that...
Many people will say the same about letting so young kid play games on computer/phone. (I see where they are coming from.) It's not about gender bull****. It's about caring. Over time it may end badly. They will start to spend more and more time on phone/computer ignoring "real" life. They will stop going out with friends and prefer stay home sitting on computer. It all starts with "little bit of game time". You don't get it? 1hr at 5 years will becomes 2hrs at 7 years. 3hrs at 8 years and at 15 years old he will be spending 10+hrs. Because at some point they will stop listening to you. Enjoy 5 years old still you can. At teens age you will be lucky to get your way. Every child stops listening to their parent at some point.
Then again it's your kid - you parent your way. Games have a age rating for a reason. Worst thing one can do is letting kids play on any screen.
trash still giving unsolicited advices. ignore them and do what you think is best for your child. i'm sure u will create a lot of fond memories playing wow together
To be honest , I got convince that paladin can be the way to go .... putting all the attack on 2 (under a cast sequence) having exorcist on 1 and flash heal on 3 for when even manager proc.
Well i will not try say don't do it. Since you are convinced yourself and go to Dual Berz Orc Karen...
But i would say instead WotLK, maybe go for Cata or MoP. More freedom, flying, discovering... And sure he would love Demon Hunter.
and just blame people if kid ruins party and flamed lol
The easiest class i have tried in pve was elesham. It's trash dps, but a 5 years old won't mind skada.
Still Lava Burst spells a big 20K crit dmg on screen, which feels huge! So many crits. Never ooms, so he won't have to mind mana.
You can mostly have all the rotation on 1 keybinding. But can get flame shock on an other one and thunderstorm. It will feel like multiple keybinds for him.
On Lord it would be a big nono and he would have trouble geting into raids... But is he even thinking about raids. And on icecrown with the 30% buff and not buffed content he won't have trouble geting into groups. Besides BL, 0 responsability in raids with spells like DSAC and Aura dancing.
Oh, and even if you don't use a /castsequence macro but still bind all the spell by themselves, it's tops 5 keybindings. Real easy rotation.
For the leveling part: shams use mail so they are pretty tanky. Have healing spells. And, thinking of a child, ghost form could be real amusing and usefull.
