Technical Game FPS

I use a laptop to play this game which is from 4-5 years ago. My FPS during 25-man raids is not satisfactory so I decided to get a desktop pc for playing. What I don’t know is that should I get a new pc equipped which these new generation CPUs that have at least 4 cores or a second-hand old pc from the time this game was created. Although new CPUs just use one of their many cores for this game cause of its old engine I figured cause of CPU’s new design that would be enough and give decent FPS in any circumstance but I’m not sure and some players I talked were complaining about it. so I made this post to ask all players and see if there is anyone with fairly new desktop pc who doesn’t suffer from low FPS during 25-man raids? Tell me about your experience and the computer you having and guide me please.

Even with newer system you will not have perfect fps due to engine limitations. But when i switched from ryzen 1600 to 5600x and got radeon 6600, i no longer have fps drops in raids, even on highest settings, just make sure you have at least 16gb of ram

It's WoW made like that, even with computers from NASA you will have fps drops.
