WotLK How to solve an old school quest bug?

Purified Kor Gem

so well over a year ago, mebbe close to two now, i had the bright idea to delete a few items i couldnt figure out what they were for. and one of them was my purified kor gem for an old school paladin quest. stupid, i know. figured out what quest it was for when trying to clear out my log after. the purified kor gem is one of 4 different quest items needed for 'the test of righteousness', a lvl 22 quest. the four sub quests (purified kor gem, whitestone oak lumber, jordan's refined ore shipment, and jordan's smithing hammer) are all intended to be repeatable in case some knucklehead does exactly what i did. and they other 3 are, i've deleted the items and redone the other three quests numerous times trying to get the kor gem one to trigger. if i dont have the quest item in my inventory or stash the npcs will reissue the other 3 quests no prob. but the npc in darkshore who is supposed to give ya the quest for the purified kor gem doesnt offer it, presumably because i already completed it.

first off, i realize that as far as bugs though, this is pretty bottom tier priority. im just a completionist, and have enjoyed going around the world doing all the quests i could. but im not really sure what i can do to hammer this one off now. im pretty sure i filed a bug report back when it first happened and i realized it wasnt working. i know i have opened a gm ticket in game, who told me they couldnt help me, and i also opened a ticket on the forums, who also told me they couldnt help me. now, this was a long *** time ago, so i may misremember, but i have the distinct impression the gm told me to go to the forums, and the mod told me to go to gms. either way, neither of the two support options were able to help me, and i have had a bug report open on this for over a year.

so, as far as i can tell my hands are tied. but i figured i'd ask here if anyone else has an idea what i may do. deleting the other three items, abandoning the main quest, and retaking the 'test of righteousness' doesnt enable the purified kor gem quest. and it being a bug that only affects a small fraction of an already small fraction of paladins who bother to do the quest kinda shows a fix is probably unnecessary, but it kinda leaves me in a spot. leastwise if i want to finish this quest, which i do.

is there anything more i can do? would a gm or a mod be willing to bend a little to help me finish this? is there some other way of completing this quest?

I'm currently running this quest, but I can't get the hammer. The door in SFK was missing, as was the hammer.

So I'm wondering: How did you get the hammer?

Looks like the quest was bugged yesterday - I've been able to get the hammer today! :D

Maybe it was just a waiting game, maybe it was the server restarting. Not sure.
