Is there any way to be able to skip the 3 day wait to buy something on trade? it kinda sucks having to wait 72 hours to be able to buy something, if not, it would also be nice if they stated this before you buy coins.

No, there isn't. People who have 2fa active all along, as everyone should and is encouraged to do, don't have that sort of issue. The Coins received by players when they donate are also all perfectly usable. It's any trading that involves other players that has restrictions.
