So this happened to me a several weeks, maybe a month ago when I wanted to return to the game after a long break. I reset my router(twice) and the issue seemingly went away for a good while and I was able to enjoy the game for a while. That is...until the issue came back seemingly out of nowhere and I got the whole "Account is locked but can be unlocked" issue all over again. This time, when I reset my router the problem didn't get solved. I tried relogging over and over, but the issue still stayed. My account's in good standing like always, so I know I haven't been banned.
I don't understand why this issue keeps popping up and why the fixes I tried before suddenly stopped working. Please help.
