1. Balance changes

    Hey

It was mentioned that vanilla phases will have vanilla talents and mechanics etc. So are there no plans to make poor performing classes a little bit more viable? Vanilla is famous for its poor and unbalanced class design both in pve and pvp (20 warriors in a raid, rogues stunlucking for 30 seconds straight etc)

The #nochanges enthusiasts are a very loud minority on every realm but looking at the increased XP rate, RDF, dual talents, no debuff cap etc it is safe to say that Onyxia will not be for the pure vanilla fans. Is it possible to make small changes to classes such as elemental shaman for example to make them viable in pve or will they be forced into healing for 6 phases in a row?

  2. Tweaking balance in one side will change the balance on the other. It will create even more of a clown-show that there already will be with a little surprises that will pop out every now and then in terms of classes. If you'll think about it you will understand what a pain in the ars this would be to do. If i were staff i would say that this is a huge wasting of time. I'd rather see them release at least decently working server and have classes work by the original template instead of spending time working on something like that.
Maybe you'll get your favorite class to work by an accident lol who knows.

  3. That makes no sense. You're implying huge balance changes that will affect others. I'm implying giving a mana option for elemental shamans, literally that is all they need because damage and utility wise they are fine both in pve and pvp. It is such a small change how would it affect anything else other than the shaman itself? Other servers (not gonna mention name) did even more by adding custom abilities and talents to enhance the vanilla experience and even those did not break balance, it only made meme specs such as balance druid, prot paladin work better so they stop being meme specs.

I know what you talking about, i played it, those changes are cosmetic asf and that's basically a reason why they did not break any balance lol. Those still are the meme specs at end game as they were in original 1.12

  5. I dont think we played the same server then because those classes definitely worked endgame.
