First max lvl char in WoW!

Hello everyone!)

Just recently raised my character to max level for the first time in WoW, it is Mage. (I played in 2010 or 2011 when I was a kid). So now I have a question: what should I do for now? How to gear up? Which ways did you use and which ones are the best? And how do I get heirlooms? (Because I'm not sure that Mage fits me as a class, so I want to try another, but levelling is time-consuming so heirlooms, I think, will help with this.)

Since you mentioned time-consuming leveling, I assume you're not on Icecrown?

Depending on your answer, heirlooms can be bought (emblems,etc), fishing, and so on.

I'm playing Alliance for now, but I'm thinking about changing to the Horde, 'cause I have always liked it. Idk why I chose the Alliance, mb I wanted to try and see smth new.

The funny thing is that I'm on Icecrown. It took me like 4-5 days to max the char(that's quite long time for me, considering that it's a x7 realm). I think, the problem was the wrong way of the levelling.

I see! Well, heirlooms help, of course, but I wouldnt necessarily go out of my way to get them. You'll get the hang of it and blaze right through the leveling. :)

If you have money to spare, and prefer leveling over insta-80 boost, you could always use the marketplace.
