<i>"You have a 20% chance for your Bloodsurge and Sudden Death talents to grant 2 charges of their effect instead of 1, reduce the global cooldown on Execute or Slam by 0.5 sec, and for the duration of the effect to be increased by 100%."</i>
The way I understand it is I'll potentially be pressing slam up to 20% more times compared to if I didn't have the set bonus.
However, anecdotally, the number of Bloodsurge procs I'm getting from it feels way higher. In on itself, this is great because that means more abilities are used and more dmg is done, but in practice this has introduced a new problem for me: frequent rage starvation.
I am now frequently running out of rage as I try to consume the 4p proc before it expires to the point where I cannot keep 100% uptime on heroic strike anymore. Also, due to prioritizing the 4p proc over everything else (except letting sunder drop), it's also messing up my rotation a little as sometimes I won't have BT and WW lined up as predictably as before. The only exception to this is when I'm taking constant raid dmg like in Halion's twilight realm as I passively generate sufficient rage in such cases.
Have you guys experienced this as well? Is there a way to adjust my rotation/spell prio to maximize uptime on heroic strike while optimizing for the best dps? Would love to hear your thoughts!
If youre having rage issues, might be:
1) hit %/exp # not capped
2) talents/glyphs
3) have on keybinds:
* BT AND WW -> On a keybind (can use these spells for rage)
* Bt/ww macros with both HS and CLEAVE macro
* blood/berserking rage skills
I believe you USUALLY prio bloodthirst AND whirlwind WITH HS/CLEAVE
Even if you have 2 stacks of slam via 4set t10
*Bloodsurge is based off chance whereas youre 2-3 spells that have a consistent cd timer -> better to use them + start cd timer -> bloodsurge procs should still have a few seconds left
-can save ww/cleave if multiple targets inc
