Technical Problems with the game working on Windows 11 within the task manager

Good night, how are you?

I would like to know why when I log into World of Warcraft and exit
the game, it is still active in my task manager. Is this normal or is
there any way to prevent this from happening? Because, when it is
active, it consumes a lot of my computer's resources, and I didn't
like that. My operating system is Windows 11.

I use win 11 too but when I close it is not working background.

I spoke to warmane support and they said it's not normal for this to happen, but I managed to resolve it by activating compatibility mode in Windows 8
