1. [Lordaeron] Add a slightly easier raid difficulty

First I want to say that I hope I formatted this right and I hope I posted it in the right place because this is something I would like to see changed.
And if I did it wrong then I'm sorry if I messed up. You can move it or tell me what I need to do to fix it before you give me a warning about it please.
I also mean no disrespect in anything I say so I hope I dont come across too harshly. I'm very passionate about this issue and it has me spun up lately.

I know what I'm about to say may be unpopular but try to be civil ok?
So for those player who isnt a dev or mod then please consider If you dont got nothing nice to say, then please just click away and dont be a bully.
This is MY OPINION and MY SUGGESTION, this is not a roasting session for people to set me on fire. TYVM for your cooperation and now without further ado-

My SUGGESTION is to make a normal normal mode for raids. Call it softcore or basic or what i dont care what you name it. Just that if there was a raid difficulty in between Retail raid difficulty(at launch back in the 2000s) and the difficulty that Warmane staff tuned it up to when Lorderon was launched then you know.... Keep it moderately challenging yea but dont make it so impossible to do without being obscenely overgeared. Like for example- if the ilevel that drops is 200(Epic) then make it so people with good skill/knowlege who performs flawlessly can BARELY do the dungeon in ilevel 200 blues (with maybe the odd Epic in there) But it still provide a fair challenge for even people with up to avg iLvL 232 or a mixed group with small margin for error.

    Now a little backstory/explananation;
Look- I get it, you want challenging content and heck- I originally came here for challenging LEVELLING content. Where I got killed if I took on more than 2 mobs while I was still in my starter whites/greys. And even once I got kitted out in greens I still felt like I was being challenged. But that was nearly 10 years ago back before @warmane @devs nerfed overworld/levelling content. Now even in greys low level content is a pushover and i'm sorely disappointed by that but I digress. Giving people easy-peasy levelling experience then they try to even go to their first entry level raid for nax or whatever iLEVEL 200 but then they get slapped by the realization that you need 232+ iLVL gear in order to clear TRASH. wat the hek?! ya know? And people cant do level appropriate/gear appropriate raids at the level they are sposed to do them?
So this may be an unpopular opinion but.... What if there was a way to separate it? Make it so that if level 60s wanted to do Molten Core, or ZG/AQ they could and People who wanna do ZA, KZ, BT, etc AT 70, THEY COULD!? And if people actually want to run intro Raids to actually get UPGRADES instead of needing to be 1k-2k GS overgeared for every fricken thing? THEY COULD! Just like theres heroic mode for some raids.... Make a "softcore mode" or something? Then 80s in less competitive guilds could do stuff. So many people of the server feels excluded because all the raids want everybody in 6k GS to even do barely ToC10 for cryin out loud and that aint right. If everybody is in 6k gs to do barely entry level raids then they arent even getting upgrades in 25man heroic ICC so theres no point to do it except for their EPEENS.

It really feels sucky to see the same exact pants drop from a boss that you just bought yesterday off a vendor. There are people on this server who dont even raid outside of getting carried on the weekly BECAUSE of this fact. They only farm heroics and then buy primordials with gold from dailies to get the crafted epics from the people with ICC recipes. You shouldnt have to effectively "pay2win" your GS up enough to buy your way into a raid that is several tiers beneath you. In fact- My entire guild was built upon this concept that from every raid you do- someone should be able to get at least one upgrade.

In closing, I know I'm not alone when I say that raids should feel meaningful at all gear stages (whether it be you that gets an upgrade or a guildmate.
Not just a mindless badge-farm for several months to buy ICC drops from token vendors just so that you can barely touch marrowgar on 10m norm only to have it drop the same stuff everyone already bought/ iswearing so it basically becomes a shard farm instead of gearing people.
Idk about you.... but personally I would rather EARN my gear FROM where it DROPS than to simply buy the same gear from a vendor out of sheer patience.
Thank you for your time and I hope the right pairs of eyes can see this and talk to the head devs/GMs about if there is a way to feasibly implement this.

  2. Now before people start freaking out-

I'm NOT suggesting that impossible hard mode be removed or anything so if youre a competitive player about to panic and comment "gitgud" or other hateful things and expressing adamant disagreements. CALM DOWN. You can keep insane-mode, I'm only asking for an ADDITIONAL difficulty for normal players.
So nothing is being taken away from you. Getting mad at adding extra modes so more people can raid would be like getting mad at the ice cream man for adding extra flavors to his menu in order to attract more customers.

  3. "Do not post suggestions that include the following

    • Realm features - Do not suggest or demand that the already-confirmed realm features be disabled, removed, etc."

While not directly, this is what your suggestion is. Lordaeron having an increased difficulty is something that was part of it since its creation and nothing that is a secret or should be a surprise to anyone deciding to join it. That's what people go play there for (or in the very least they should be ready to accept if they join for any other reason). Introducing an "easy mode" on a server meant to be difficult is just contradictory and what you should do is go play on Icecrown instead of expect a server to be changed from its purpose.
