Nothing should happen. Though if you're unsure of the other player and find them dodgy or suspicious, find another player. Go with your gut feeling.
It's weird how can you know it's illegal gold. If you are just trading, it's all good, it's not your responsibility to investigate other players pockets.
I can decode the real question:
"Is it possible for me to get caught if I use a burner account to cheat, then trade items or gold to my main with it?"
