WotLK IP banned?

I don't use a VPN, haven't advertised other private servers or anything... I don't understand why I've been banned. I could log in, then got disconnected. Tried to donate to get coins but couldn't because I was IP banned??

I've read all the threads on the forum but none of the offenses have been comitted by me. I'm a WoW player, which means I'm literally addicted so waiting 4 days is not an option. What is going on? Has anyone else been banned for no reason?

It could be due to someone else on your internet connection getting banned, or you have a dynamic IP address. Best bet is to reboot your modem or contact your ISP to get a new IP.

If playing at a school, or internet cafe, then you're out of luck.
