WotLK Lost character from frostmourne server

I stopped playing a while back when frostmourne was still a thing, and had a level 80 Rogue account there. I've re logged in now to icecrown after ~1.5 yr inactivity, and that account is not there. Was this something I manually had to do? is there any way I can retrieve this character?
