WotLK Tabard of conquest

I am alliance, If i buy the horde tabard of conquest trough the shop, can i TMOG my tabard to the horde conquest tabard and will it keep the appearance of the horde tabard?

What I personally did was this, 30 vote points, faction change, to alliance since I wanted the Alliance version, used a scroll on it to copy it, applied that scroll onto my "Tabard of scarlet crusade" (did the same with alliance toc axes) then used 30 points again and swapped back to horde. The thing is, when I used faction changing in the past aswell the item auto swapped from alliance version to horde, so your tabard might come out as the one you dont want, another issue I didnt want to happen was the fact that you HAVE to be able to wear the item in order to even use a scroll on it, alliances races are not on its list as useball classes, Kinda like shadownourne cant be used as any other then DK - Pala or warrior, so even if you have like a Hunter with a 2hand agility axe from toc, you cant xmog scroll a shadowmourne onto it. There might be another way easier or it might work ur way I dont honestly know, but my alliance stuff turned to horde automaticlly (even my rare ivory raptor which I almost cried about), but when I applied as transmog and then faction changed the look from the counter faction stayed.
