1. TBC or Onyxia will die out

Hi there dear community and devs,

I think I speak for almost everyone, when I say - we need TBC sooner rather than later.

If you do intend to keep the existing schedule for Naxx release, can you please inform us when TBC will be released so we can plan accordingly with guildies. The summer holidays combined with AQ (famously known for destroying guilds), are simply thinning the server population at a speed that makes it impossible to recruit and thereby impossible to raid.

I know I speak for at least 3 well established guilds when I say - we need clarity on future releases. The alternative is simply saddening as it would mean quitting the server.

Please, do your community a favour, and enlighten us on when TBC is scheduled. And in case you are wondering whether you should push TBC due to the delayed AQ release, DON’T. We need to respark the energy and life on the server, we need newcomers and we need TBC.

We all appreciate the amazing work you have done with Vanilla, and we all want to to secure the future of Onyxia, but that means increasing the phase a bit.

    All the best,
    <’3

  2. I can’t agree more. TAQ is a disaster and half of our guild members went AFK. We need TBC only sooner not delayed.

  3. I find the above comments Amaving.. Now that we have heard from 3 of the Many Players that rage quit Raids because they aren't getting their way.. the same players that know better than all the developers/Staff that are not only supplying us with very solid game play but providing it for Free... I would like the Warmane Team to hear from at least one of the Hundreds of players that appreciate you work and efforts you guys put in on Oxyxia everyday... Thanks

  4. @Alanson225, I fear you might have misunderstood by tone of voice - I too am very appreciative of the efforts made by Warmane, and I too do not mind supporting them financially.

That being said, I fear for the future of our beloved Onyxia realm. Many guilds have already planned to simply skip Naxx alltogether and wait for TBC, and with the contiuing drop in population, I fear the server could die.

So yeah, all I am hoping is that Devs will consider moving the timeline for TBC to post summer break.

  5. sry but this server will die with tbc. no one wants it. People love vanilla, many many guild are playing every raid, citys are full with people, dunno why some haters even play here when raids are 2 hard for them. just cringe.

  6. "Many guilds have already planned to simply skip Naxx alltogether and wait for TBC"

well bad casual guilds also gave up in classic. doesnt mean ****. most guilds wait THE MOST just for the best vanilla raid which is NAXX.

  7. I mean, if you don't understand basic math - I cannot help you. But I will give you one lesson, 1000 is less than 2000. That is also the amount the pop has declined since March.

Also, what cities are you in!? xD you're own little wonderland!? Also, have you seen AH - it's controlled by 5 people ...

I am not a hater, love vanilla too - but I also know that without a healthy pop, there is no Server. Also, all I am asking is a clear time frame

  8. But I will give you one lesson, 1000 is less than 2000. That is also the amount the pop has declined since March.
Yet right now it's over 2500.

  9. I quit before ZA and came back during it and did like 4-5 runs before quitting because my first guild died and had to join another one.
that one died too during AQ so the sooner TBC comes out the better

  10. "Many guilds have already planned to simply skip Naxx alltogether and wait for TBC"

You probably have played too much WOW

  11. The server is fine you're just gaming with the wrong people. Had a week full of raids and it was a great time.

The issue is yes you have a lot of players that will only chase the new and shiny thing. Have to find the real fanatics. Those are the people overly hyped for the most challenging raid in Vanilla. It's gonna be awesome!

  12. Haha, I see you are a moderator, but regardless - we all know that Warmane is famous for 'adjusting' pop numbers. Rule of thump on all their server population numbers, divide by 2 :)

Most likely what they do is pull all unique accounts that has logged over a week, and that is the number you see on the website. It is a little difficult to fully understand, but one thing is certain, it's not the amount 'currently online'.

  13. thats such a BS, this server is still fuller than most classic servers. The numbers might even be too low. i dunno why u guys accuse with 0 proof and for no reason....

Rule of thumb: if you think we have to "adjust" the population, feel free to go somewhere that doesn't.

Excuse me? Fuller than classic servers?

This is how the high populated classic servers (which were the majority) looked like during peak time: https://imgur.com/a/nsSetd7

You had to wait hours before getting in. So stop spreading false statements like this. Always people who actually haven't played classic making these kind of comments....it is beyond comparison of how classic looked like vs Onyxia realm. Perhaps old vanilla, but not classic vanilla ;)

But indeed the rest of the above comments are butthurt garbage. The population is fine enough to do whatever you want, with plenty of guilds to choose from.
It will temporarily get better with Naxx release, TBC release and then drop again. Just a standard server life cycle.
