1. [New Player] Your first FLY MOUNT

    Hiya everyone!

I am writing this for the benefit of new players out there who are freshly playing WOW with Mist of Pandaria expansion. As we all know, the map of World of Warcraft is very vast. In the early levels of your character, there's no way for you travel faster along different maps but either by running with your land mount or via flight services from the npcs in different maps.

Probably, just like I did, you'll also feel the need and the convenience of having a flying mount you can ride to and fro across different areas specially over the mountains in the zone. Unfortunately, there are NO NEWBIE flying mounts for you not until you reach LEVEL 60 and purchase the FLIGHT MASTER'S LICENSE. This will COST you 250 gold so better save up.

My character is in the Horde faction, so I purchased my Flight Master's License from MAZTHA, a flying trainer NPC located in Orgrimmar. After purchasing the license, I then purchased my first-ever flying mount (it can also walk on land) from the npc named DRAKMA. This npc sells Wind Riders of different colors and the basic ones costs 40 gold and 50 silver.

I don't know which NPCs and Maps you have to visit if you're in the Alliance but I believe the same system applies for such feature. Just try to explore and ask around your colleagues and mates.

I hope this guide helps. Enjoy your WOW-journey and experience!

    Best regards,

    Sepiroth X

  2. By the way, a little correction, you can't learn the Flight Master's License unless you learn the Apprentice, Journeyman and the Expert Riding skills.

The Expert Riding skill allows you to ride flying mounts at 150% speed, and can be trained at level 60. Expert Riding can be trained at the cost of 250gold and can be discounted based on the player's reputation with either Orgrimmar (Horde) or Stormwind (Alliance) to the maximum discounted cost of 200gold (at Exalted reputation).
