1) I'm new, got 5100 gs, no pvp gear, should I buy the Furious 5 set from the lady in dalaran for Triumphs? I don't need them anymore, and even though they are expensive, it is something I can get done in a few days.
2) Are there only two sets? I cannot seem to find anything but Wrathful/Furious stuff being sold in either Dalaran or Orgrimar. Is the furious set good to begin for pvp? I ask because I'm currently getting 1-2 tapped by the very brave members of the other faction, and wish to know if this set will add some survivablity to my Warlock.
3) There is no weapons vendor, is this correct?
4) What is a general decent way to be geared up for some pvp as a new player?
1. If you have no other use for the Emblems of Triumph go for it, however, you can also buy Furious set with Honor Point in Orgrimmar (From Blood Guard Zar'shi)
2. There is: Furious > Relentless > Wrathful ; Furious can be bought with emblems of triumph/honor, Relentless with Emblems of Frost and for Wrathful you need arena points/rating (You can also buy Relentless off parts such as belt or boots for Honor from the vendor right next to Blood Guard Zar'shi) or Wrathful off-parts from Doris Volanthius, also for honor points {Look up exact NPC locations}
3. There is a weapons vendor (Xazi Smolderpipe <Arena Vendor>), however it is for Wrathful weapons and those require a specific arena rating, I think it was 1800 rating min.
4. Queue up for BGs and Wintergasp, farm some honor, and you can buy good starting items without requiring arena rating, if you want even better gear you'll need to queue up for arenas to earn points and rating
5. Can be annoying if the teams are not balanced, but overall I'd say BGs are fun/in a good state - You'll have to see for yourself
