WotLK Character name bugged, please assist

Greetings, I downloaded the game again because i haven't played it for a long time, and as i log in my account, i noticed that my lvl 80 Paladin named Drodley now it's named C_7053837. By any chance is it possible to bring his old name back?

Log in using that character. You will be asked to give it a new name. If the name you want is still available you will be able to use it.

This happened as a part of inactivity cleanup process, I think to prevent names from being occupied forever.
It really annoys when you think of a cool name, check armory and see that name is taken but last time he logged on was 7 years ago.
