Just a poultry level 75 protection paladin, new player in Lordaeron. There are some truly amazing players out there teaching me tips and tricks, but 90% are just impossible to get an idea from.
I surveyed AH for any upgrades along the way, I prep HP pots, I popped divine protection, divine sacrifice, double defensive trinket, hand of sacrifice, lay on hands and sometimes all together when I see the situation arises. Healers still say "squishy ppala, didn't use di-sac" quit and leave us stranded while they have mana on them.
Yesterday is a new high, 90% mana disc priest lefts us stranded in Draktharon Keep, didn't bothered to try at all. The monsters heal hard, they hit hard. If the total dps check on mobs healer didnt pass, it's a failed run. (Those mobsters are somehow immune to CC, good design btw) Daily RDF is now keep pushing me there at my current level.
I'v done everything I can, but if you have any more advices. Do share. I rather not doing dungeons at this point.
The funny thing about normal dungeons is that they can actually be harder than the heroic version, because the players are "capped". In heroics you can have full-bis players in your group that run through the dungeon like they are on steroids. Nevertheless, going through this phase is good training.
Try Icecrown alliance side if you ever get tired of Lordaeron. That little bit in the 2nd paragraph tells us you actually care about your performance by preparing beforehand. You'll find us swarmed even more with BIS characters, yes, but that also means it's easier to get past the first few hurdles with the right people/community and actually begin on the gearing up/mastering boss mechanics at max level, at the endgame.
As for your current situation, you can consider collecting some holy gear so you can play both ends in the RDF nm/RDF hc game and get back some control of your time.
It's sad but it's the life of any tank on warname, whatever the lel or gear. It's why no one want to tank (look at rhc call for tank in global). For example just today, I tag with my 6k+ tank, dps around 5k5 aggro trahses he want, misposition, zero tactic or knowledge. The mage keep freeze adds far (if you are tank you know it annoying as ****). Then shamy decide to pull boss. I just do nothing, tired to try to erase mistakes made by others. My moto is you pull/aggro, you tank. I get kick, then people 'll complain no tank. Just lol.
