Hello people,
Having some issues with my rig:
5800X | 7700XT | 32GB RAM
I cannot seem to change the refresh rate to 120Hz from the in game menu.
When changing the refresh rate from 60Hz to 120Hz, the game does not crash, but Windows stops showing the game window image altogheter. However, the connection remains open and the game works in the background, as I can hear activity in Dalaran around me.
PC is otherwise fine.
I've tried searching for this issue on this forum and on the internet, but no luck. It seems like some sort of configuration issue but I can't seem to figure out what's wrong or what I should be changing.
Has anyone encountered this previously? Any thoughts?

Not sure I get the question. I'm trying to see if anyone else had this issue of not being able to switch to 120Hz on their game client. Isn't this the right section?

Yes, this crashes the game client as well.

I just likely don't understand something. Why do you want to sync at 120hz? You can just turn off sync, uncap fps and enjoy best you can get from both, your pc and I assume, high refresh rate monitor?

Pure fullscreen mode is "special" in the sense that you have to specify a resolution + a frequency. If you specify a lower frequency, fps will be capped at that frequency, and disabling vsync will not fix it.
Back to the matter at hand: Have you tried dxvk? Have you tried upgrading your gpu drivers?
