1. The Underrated Profession That Can Really Pay Off in WotLK?

    Hey everyone,

I often see the same professions mentioned across forums, videos, and guides: Herbalism, Mining, Jewelcrafting, etc. They’re solid, sure, but I’m wondering if there’s any niche market to be explored, especially in an expansion like WotLK where everyone is rushing to pick up the common professions.

For instance, bags with 22 or 30 slots – this is a recurring need, and given their price, it can be really profitable if you’re one of the few crafting them. Or, consider other items like boots, capes, or leggings that seem a bit underrated in the general market. Maybe I’d be the only one offering them and capturing that unmet demand.

What do you think? In your opinion, what is that hidden profession, that niche no one is thinking about exploiting? There could be demand for certain items or materials that aren’t immediately obvious. On the other hand, professions like Mining are saturated, with Northrend resources being over-farmed, and in terms of Jewelcrafting, there’s already heavy competition (I am a Miner and Jewelcrafter, so I’m familiar with the situation).

I’d love to hear your thoughts: Have you found an underestimated profession that really brings in the gold? And more importantly, how much do you think can be earned from it? What do you estimate the monthly earnings for such a specific profession might be?

Personally, I love the business side of WoW, and I’m always looking for new opportunities to maximize profits while offering services or items to players who aren't overwhelmed with competition.

Thanks to anyone who takes the time to share their experience!

  2. Frostweave bags are sold by so many people that they are commonly sold below reagent price. The only money-making bag is the Glacial Bag.

  3. Ok but i was not talking only about that
I am wondering about a specific profession

  4. hk farmer, well not exactly about hk, its about the honor points and winning bgs for uncut gems, so u'd better be alliance. and WG honor points pay quite good. especially with those weekly quests and the stones u get to convert it to honor mark.
gold u get isnt as much as mining and/or herbalism, but its better than skinning for sure. and u're having fun while doing it if u're into pvp.

i got a friend who begs for gold regularly at durotar and elwyn duelers when he needs some gold, so i guess thats a profession too lmao.

AH flipping is decent and easy too, but i personally dont like it much.

and the obvious one is probably the item ressing/achievements raid runs hosted by guilds, huge gold earning but cant do it as often.

oh yea, and death roll or any gambling in general, some people just addicted to it too much even in this game.
