1. Introducing the Valuable Loot Tracker Addon!

    Hello everyone!

I’m Zombified, and I’m excited to share my latest addon: Valuable Loot Tracker! As an avid WoW player, I found myself wanting a better way to track the valuable items I loot. So, I decided to create this addon to help myself and fellow adventurers manage their treasures more effectively.

    What is Valuable Loot Tracker?

Valuable Loot Tracker is a user-friendly addon that keeps track of the total value of your loot in real-time. It’s designed to help you quickly see the worth of your items and make informed decisions while looting. Here are some of the features:

Total Value Display: Instantly view the total value of items you’ve looted.
Valuable Item Tracking: Easily see the most valuable items in your loot history, with a limit on the number displayed.
Custom Thresholds: Set your own value thresholds to highlight the items that matter most to you.
Movable Frame: The addon’s interface can be easily moved around your screen to suit your preferences.

    How It Works

The addon automatically tracks loot whenever you open or close a loot window. It adds up the values of the items based on their auction house prices using Auctioneer's data.

*****************Please note that Auctioneer is a required addon for this addon to function. Make sure you have it installed to ensure accurate pricing.***********************

    Commands to Control the Addon

You can control the Valuable Loot Tracker using the following commands in the chat window:

/vlt show: Displays the loot tracker frame.
/vlt hide: Hides the loot tracker frame.
/vlt scale [number]: Adjusts the scale of the frame (enter a number greater than 0).
/vlt [number]: Set a new threshold value to filter items based on their worth.

    Version
This addon is for WoW 3.3.5.

    Installation
To install the Valuable Loot Tracker, simply download the addon and place it in your WoW addons folder.

    Feedback and Suggestions

I’m eager to hear your thoughts on Valuable Loot Tracker! If you have any feedback or suggestions for improvements, please let me know. I’m committed to making this addon the best it can be for all players.

Thank you for your time, and happy looting!

    Best,

    CHANGELOG:
v1.1 fixed some minor bugs - addon should now tally loot more precisely

  2. Done some light research and can’t seem to find an addon for this explicit purpose.

I lead pugs, and I started doing MS>OS +1. Right now I track who wins loot and their tally for MS/OS rolls in excel but I was wondering if there was an addon that can keep a tally (manually or automatically) on who wins loot for MS and/or OS rolls OR if there’s an addon that can be configured to do such a function.

Any and all recommendations would be helpful.

  3. Thanks for sharing the Valuable Loot Tracker addon! I am very impressed with the features you have developed, especially the ability to track loot values ??in real time. This will definitely help many players in managing their assets.

    I have a few questions:

Do you have any plans to update this addon for newer versions of WoW?
Can you share more about how the addon interacts with Auctioneer to get data?
Looking forward to hearing from you and good luck with this addon!

    Best regards!

Make sure you have AUCTIONEER installed and that you have scanned the auction house with it. VLT pulls it's data from Auctioneer, so if it isn't there, it won't work.
