Technical Addon complete rollback

Hello,
I opened the game today, and all my UI add-ons rolled back to a version I was using one year ago. Yesterday everything was working, but today the UI was completely scrambled.

There are no errors reported, and no file was saved between yesterday and today in my WoW folder (thinking about overwritten).

Interestingly, in my WTF/Account/xxx/Onyxia path, I do not have the folder of my characters, just a couple of old toons that do not exist anymore, so I am not sure what was going on here.

I have another account with the same addons configuration, which is in another folder. Is there a way to copy the addon configuration from one folder to the other?

More importantly, what the hell happened that caused my rollback (if anyone has any idea :D)?

You can copy the configuration from another account just by copying the files. The path is something like (off the top of my head) WTF/account/account name/realm/character/savedvariables/addon name.lua and WTF/account/accountname/savedvariables/addon name.lua, you have to copy them.

I've had wow corrupt my addons configuration many times, so I run a backup program that makes a backup of my entire WTF folder periodically to minimise the damage.

Thanks for the reply, indeed I managed to copy everything almost fine.
Interestingly, the WTF folder was in C:UsersXXXAppDataLocalVirtualStoreProgram Files (x86). I read in an old post that if you store the WoW folder in Program Files (x86) the WTF folder behaves a bit weirdly, so in case any one has a similar issue, I'll leave this here for reference.

Long story short: move your WoW folder away from the Program Files (x86).
