Realms Please don't punish people saving to buy a mount by removing half their gold

There's only one reason I work for gold. To buy a mount. Ok some gold is needed for skills or food/pots, etc.

I understand the need to remove too much gold from a server. You have a bot problem. I am reminded of this every time I login and get invited to a group by XXXXX char so they can spam me with their gold selling site.

My mage on Onyxia is currently saving for a fast flying mount. I currently have around 3k gold? The mount costs around 10k gold? Which will take me months. If I lose half my gold I will have to start over. As will most others.

There are better options such as a progressive tax system. For example, any player with <10k gold 10% tax. Any player with < 50k gold 20% tax. Any player with < 100k gold 50% tax, etc.

There are other options as well. Please consider this, thank you.

Well, you don't have to worry, because as you would know if you had read the announcement, the gold on Onyxia doesn't get squished.
