Anyone know what can i do?

Hi so my quel delar quest just bugged, I was doing the purification process of the sword quel delar in the fountain of sun and I accidentally left my band group and it kicked me out of the instance and idk if its bugged or what because I don't have the item in my inventory and i can't get the sword no more, what can I do?

Have you tried abandoning the quest and picking it up again?

The quest bugged for me in a way that the tempered sword was not in the loot box for me to pick back up. I had a run around with staff here for 2 weeks. One staff member was very helpful and understood my problem but other staff acted like they did not understand. If I ever have to do it again I am going to live stream the sunwell part.

anyway the outcome was that staff was not able to do anything since the only solution to the bug was to place the tempered sword in my inventory, but staff here is STRICTLY forbidden from doing that. They will not do it and there are NO exceptions. So...I just never got to finish it.No amount of quest resetting fixed it.
