How to switch BS specialization

Is there a way to switch from mace weapon smith to sword or is the only way to unlearn BS and skill it from scratch?

I asked the same question the other day and I was told that if you abandon the profession, you can choose from the start the specialization you want. So technically if you are forge 375 and you have crafted all your weapons you can equip them by being lvl 1 blacksmith but by changing the specialization.

But what I don't know.. is when you will have in P2 the new crafts available I think you will have to be 375 to go from DP to Herold

If you have already tried or heard of another solution, I am interested.

Certainly because crafting Deep Thunder requires also 375 skill.

Anyway, thanks for the info.
Then I’ll craft the sword and mace in P2 and afterwards relearn the prof.

Thanks for information. May I ask why you want to switch to the sword? Mace seems better in every way.

Mace is always better in 2s but Sword becomes viable in very good gear and is esp good with WF totem.
